HydroWorx Represents in NFL Pro Bowl

Middletown, PA-NFL Rookie of the Year Adrian Peterson concluded his dominant season with another incredible performance at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii.  He rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns on sixteen carries and was voted the Pro Bowl’s MVP.  Terrell Owens finished the annual All-Star game with eight catches for 101 yards and two TDs– one of which was the game-winner.  Their NFC squad rallied from 17 points down to win 42-30 over the AFC.  Both players were catalysts in the comeback.

Incredibly, Peterson and Owens both suffered serious injuries in the second half of the season this year.  Peterson sprained the lateral collateral ligament in his left knee on November 11th.  Owens suffered a high ankle sprain on December 22nd.  Most medical experts believed they would both be ineffective or lost for the remainder of the 2007/2008 season.  Their secret rehabilitative weapons?  Toughness, determination, and the HydroWorx pool.

Both All-Pros accelerated their unprecedented rehabs on the underwater treadmill of the HydroWorx 2000 Series pool.  Their speedy return to elite levels of competition speaks volumes about HydroWorx’s effectiveness in sports orthopedic rehabilitation.

The 2000 Series is HydroWorx’s flagship pool in their lineup of products which provide the ultimate in aquatic therapy and fitness.  The 2000 is a barrier-free modular pool with a floor that can be raised to meet the athlete or patient at ground level and then submerged to up to six feet.  The floor doubles as the underwater treadmill which has a cushioned, low-impact design and accelerates from .1 to 8.5 miles per hour in .2 mph increments.  The pool also features resistance jets, massage hoses, variable water temperature, and underwater cameras and viewing monitors.
