HydroWorx Adds Sports Enhancement Specialist Tim Grover to Client List

Middletown, PA-For 15 years Tim Grover, founder of Attack Athletics, trained one of the greatest names in basketball – Michael Jordan.  Today he is delivering injury rehabilitation and longevity training to athletes in a new 60000 sq.ft. sports performance and training facility in Chicago .  It is at this location that Attack Athletics will feature a HydroWorx 2000 pool to support their training and rehab goals.

The 2000 Series is the company’s flagship product in their line-up to fulfill the mission to provide the best in aquatic therapy and fitness.  This is achieved with a barrier free modular pool whose floor, which doubles as an underwater treadmill, can be elevated to meet the athlete at floor level then be submersed to depths of up to six feet.  The cushioned, low-impact treadmill operates at speeds of .2 mph increments to a top speed of 8.5 mph.  The variable speed underwater treadmill, directional water jet system, and underwater video feedback allow users to exercise at various intensities with less stress on the joints.  The end result is speedier, more effective rehabilitation.

“We are incredibly excited to see HydroWorx pools and technology continuing to be used at the highest level of Professional and Collegiate Basketball Facilities. Using the pool as both a rehabilitation and training tool for the highest caliber athletes.  We are excited to see how Tim (Grover) and their group at Attack will utilize our pools to raise the bar to even another level and anticipate exciting feedback and results for future case studies,” says HydroWorx VP, Rob Miller.

HydroWorx pools are found in professional and college training facilities as well as in healthcare facilities and homes in all 50 states.  Researches at Texas A&M and the University of Idaho have proven the effectiveness of HydroWorx aquatic therapy.  Notoriety has also been garnered through the use of the HydroWorx pool on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser.”
