Antonio Valencia Planning Comeback Thanks to Underwater Treadmill Training
Hold the phones and stop the presses!
Manchester United’s Antonio Valencia, 25, whose fractured ankle injury left him sidelined, is planning a mid-winter comeback.
Valencia’s rebound has included heavy courses of physical therapy and space-age rehab techniques, most notably in the HydroWorx underwater treadmill at the team’s facility. As the media has been reporting, Valencia’s regimen has included intense water workouts (which one journalist deemed “water torture sessions”.) Consequently, the Ecuadorian football player is set to be on the field ahead of schedule.
We send Valencia and his team well wishes and can’t wait to see him back in the mix in time for Champions League knock-outs.
