In general, I have found that simply having a pool is a draw that then we are able to reach appropriate clients to address land needs as well. One client with paraplegia who must use a wheelchair for mobility exclaimed how free she felt to be in the pool and moving on her own. Our pool has been so easy to maintain and use that we promote its use with as many appropriate clients as possible as the treadmill is the more unique feature compared to many other pools with resistance. The camera and ability for therapist and client to observe their gait pattern from the front and the side is so valuable and the ease of operating the treadmill and jets from the pool with the remote makes the system efficient with personnel demands.
