Steve Smith details the rehabilitation of a Mississippi State football player who underwent hip labrum surgery. The subject rehabbed and conditioned in the HydroWorx pool, not running on land until the team’s conditioning test at the beginning of football camp in August. His level of fitness was so high from the pool workouts that the normally daunting conditioning test seemed effortless. He dominated his teammates, due in part to Steve Smith’s rigorous pool protocol.
