Football-Specific ACL Rehabilitation
Mississippi State’s Steve Smith details the rehabilitation of a college football player who underwent ACL reconstruction. The subject rehabbed and conditioned in the HydroWorx pool, not running on land until the team’s conditioning test at the beginning of camp in August. His level of conditioning was so high from his pool workouts that the normally daunting fitness test seemed effortless. He dominated the competition, due in part to Steve Smith’s rigorous protocol in the pool.
