Tony will begin his presentation with an overview of Terrapin Physical Therapy and discuss the range of patients that they most commonly treat with aquatic therapy, including those with difficulty walking, running or performing various sport-specific movements, and the unique challenges that each face. He will describe how he uses his pool to apply the physical properties of water in consistently reproducible treatments designed to increase strength, range of motion and toleration for daily activities, whether those activities are recreational golf, walking for fitness or an even Olympic Marathon running. Tony will detail the aquatic applications used, including specific protocols and exercises used for each patient group.
