A Behind the Scenes Tour of Island Hall
By Tyler Garrett

CORPUS CHRISTI – After countless man hours Texas A&M-Corpus Christi has now opened the 148000 square foot Island Hall, which stands as their largest academic building.

But it’s what the hall houses that has Islander fans smiling.

"This is 3,400 square feet of the treatment and rehab center that is gonna be the flagship of our student’s health care needs," said Head Athletic Trainer Jerry Hilker.

Besides having multiple training tables, the prized jewel of the facility is its hydrotherapy room, which is comprised of a pair of pools. This is the same type of set up as the San Antonio spurs.

The facility as a whole is three times the size of their old training room.

Check out the video which will be posted at 11pm tonight for the complete narrated tour.
