Walking Cane-Free in a HydroWorx Pool

Jean didn’t just undergo one back surgery… she underwent three of them, leaving her in pain.  Unfortunately, she also suffers from arthritis and walks with a cane.

But when Jean is in the HydroWorx pool at the Pieters Family Life Center, a part of Heritage Christian Services, Henrietta, NY, she can enjoy a level of mobility and freedom that simply isn’t possible for her on land.

Her tremendous achievements are the result of two things:

1.  Jean’s positive attitude, without which she wouldn’t have had the state of mind to keep going with her aquatic therapy program.

2.  The physical therapists at Pieters Family Life Center who introduced Jean (and many other members) to the HydroWorx pool as a form of low-impact exercise and therapy.

Want to meet Jean, the dynamo who’s sold on the value of aquatic therapy?  Check out the video below!
