HydroWorx Joins the Foundation for Physical Therapy As a Bronze Partner in Research Program

HydroWorx recently joined the Foundation for Physical Therapy’s Partners in Research program as a Bronze Level
Partner. The Partners in Research program recognizes corporate donors and sponsorships that support the Foundation’s mission to provide doctoral scholarships, fellowships, and research grants to emerging physical therapist researchers. “We are proud to welcome HydroWorx to the Foundation’s Partners in Research program. Support from our partners is critical in allowing the Foundation to continue funding research relevant to clinicians and the care they provide,” said Foundation Board of Trustees Chair William G. Boissonnault, PT, DPT, DHSc, FAPTA, FAAOMPT.
HydroWorx makes aquatic therapy equipment, designs and builds rehab, exercise pools, swim spas, and portable underwater treadmills for sports and health care applications. “Our company places great value on the Foundation’s efforts to support evidence-based practice that enhances the quality of patient care. The Foundation for Physical Therapy was established in 1979 as a national, independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality and delivery of physical therapy care by providing support for scientifically based and clinically relevant physical therapy research and doctoral scholarships and fellowships.
