The Pittsburgh Steelers requested that we rip out their obsolete therapy pool to replace it with a HydroWorx 1000 Series pool. John Norwig, the Steelers head athletic trainer asserts that the results of their pool switch were even better than they'd anticipated. Auburn University had originally installed a lesser therapy pool brand in their facility in 2001. The University of Oklahoma had a competitor's hydrotherapy pool that had been a disappointment. They decided to upgrade to a HydroWorx 2000 Series. While the school was waiting for construction of the 2000 to be completed, the Sooners football team fought their way into the BCS National Title Game. To properly prepare his athletes, Jerry Schmidt, the university's Director of Sports Enhancement Coach turned to HydroWorx for help. Schmidt stated, "After going into the Big 12 Championship game, our guys were run down and beat up. We wanted to look for an advantage...."
Schmidt telephoned HydroWorx the Sunday after the Big 12 Championship game and the company had two pools delivered and set up on Thursday of the same week. After two weeks of use, these InstaFit aquatic therapy machines hit the road to South Florida and were situated next to the Oklahoma practice fields as the team prepared for the national championship.
